Perhaps this Memorial Day President Obama should think about why we owe Europe and the world an apology.

This is just Europe. A total of 104,366 dead American soldiers. It doesn't include those buried in the Pacific.
And we have to watch an American elected leader who apologizes to Europe and the Middle East that our country is "arrogant"!
How many French, Dutch, Italians, Belgians and Brits are buried on our soil, defending us against our enemies?
We don't ask for praise, but we have no reason to apologize.
Hopefully, Americans remember this in November 2012 and 2014.

1) I wish everyone a happy and thoughtful Memorial Day, and offer my greatest respect to those who have died in service of our country.
ReplyDelete2) Your use of this reverent and respectful observance of those who have died as an excuse to forward a political agenda is sickening to me, and should be offensive to anyone with any sort of respect for the fallen.
3) It's worth noting that French, Spanish, Dutch and American Indians have all died on US soil fighting in wars with us, and your insinuation that their sacrifice is not equal to ours is offensive and disrespectful to the dead.
